  About The School

Welcome to Geneva County High School

School Profile:

Our present campus was constructed in 1968.  This complex includes an auditorium, multi-media learning center, cafeteria, and classrooms housing students in grades 9-12.  In 1984, classrooms for grades 7-8 were constructed, which connected both buildings.  Two buildings were constructed in 1997 to house students in grades K-6.  These buildings are connected to the high school buildings by means of covered walkways.  The Geneva County High School bandroom and gymnasium are located two blocks north of the high school complex.

Our Beliefs:

  • Students' learning is the chief priority of our school.
  • Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
  • A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes students' learning.

  • Teachers should set high obtainable goals for all students and should motivate and encourage them to be successful in completing those goals.
